My Farewell Letter

Good morning loves!!
I firstly need to apologize for my lack of posting - I've been extremly busy these last couple of months. Due to my many activities, I may have to discontiune the project 365 :( , because I realized that I dont have the time to post photos up everyday as I thought I did. But, I will still try to post up photos and poems as much as I can :).

So here is one poem I wrote last night
Enjoy! :)

My Farewell Letter

My fingers are heavy
As I draw the curves of these characters
Forming into words that will create this
Farewell Letter
See I can no longer fight the feeling
That the existence of what was
No longer is
We found ourselves in a scene
Of what-ifs
We never were definite
We fell in a hopeless place
Where our dreams of love were
Intertwined to create a nightmare
That our hearts were not prepared for
We both had a dream that we were both meant to be
But reality gave us a check
Showing us that we were living a world of fantasy.
I wished to ignore the plain truth
And go with the beat of my own heart.
Because I realized that I could not part
With the sound of your voice,
The smile of your eyes,
The love in your character,
And the beauty in your heart.
You know how to love a woman
And to treat her as a queen.
But I’ve realized that the relationship
Being built by our hands
Was creating a blind spot in the vision of our potential future
We loved the idea of love
And being in love
But failed to realize that love itself
Was rallying against us
We wanted to be
Meant to be
We wanted to love each other freely and endlessly
With no conflicts or regrets
But we knew the possible product of our love
May not be the best for both of us

So with the pain of a broken spirit
And heaviness of my heart
I ask you to be free
And love another as you please
And if, in fact my assumptions were wrong
And it was simply bad timing,
Then we may find ourselves in each other's arm

But for right now,
This I give to you
In hopes of something better

This is my farewell letter
